Survivor

Survivor is a reality game show where contestants are taken to an exotic location and left to fend for themselves with nothing but the clothes on their back. (In case you’ve been living in a cave for the last 8 years)  They are split into tribes and compete for rewards and a million dollars.

There are a lot of elements that contribute to the massive success of this show.  Every episode is full of physical and mental challenges that are pretty unique.  Every person plays the game a little different, and every season has unexpected twists and characters that can only be described as villans.  There is always a wide range of personalities ranging from the young hotties to the old notties.  Seeing who brings it to the challenges each week and who lets the team down… always exciting.  Plus the relationships between contestants is always a hot topic… who can forget the year Rob and Amber got married?

Jeff Probst (host) provides an episode summary after each tribal councel. Like the following. “Two things that are very clear from tonights tribal councel… you are willing to change your first impressions and you’re willing to blindside eachother.”
